National HIV Testing Day (NHTD) is observed annually each June. Each year at this time, The Department of Health in Leon County (DOH Leon) unites with partners, health departments, and other organizations to raise awareness about the importance of HIV testing and early diagnosis of HIV in Florida’s Capital Region. In observation of National HIV Testing Day, The Florida Department of Health’s regional HIV & STD prevention team will be hosting a health screening event in Leon County:

9am to 2pm
No cost, private rapid screenings for HIV, Syphilis and Hepatitis-C will be offered on a mobile medical unit, provided by our friends at the Jefferson County Health Department.
