December First is World AIDS Day! A day to come together and unite in the fight against HIV! This year’s theme for World AIDS Day is “Putting Ourselves to the Test: Achieving Equity to End HIV.”

Join the Florida Department of Health in Leon County and community partners at Cascades Park in Tallahassee (1001 South Gadsden Street) for the 2nd annual Unity in Our Community --- a FREE Health and Wellness Exhibition to commemorate those who have been lost to HIV, applaud the progress made and battles won, and together recommit to ending the epidemic. Show up for inspiring speakers and conversations, community health resources, live performances, and lots of giveaways in the plaza surrounding the amphitheater.  It will conclude with a peaceful reflection and remembrance to those lost to AIDS-related illnesses. We hope to see you Thursday evening, December First, from 5PM to 8PM at Cascades Park Amphitheater for World AIDS Day in Tallahassee – Unity in Our Community!  Our supporting partners include: Neighborhood Medical Center, Gilead, Scale It Up Florida, Clear Health Alliance, Wellcare, Bond Community Health Center, Boxton Cares, Sunshine Health, and The Minority Alliance for Advocating Community Awareness and Action (MAACA).
