Florida Department Of Health In Leon County Holds More Special Immunization Clinics For Children

FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH IN LEON COUNTY HOLDS MORE SPECIAL IMMUNIZATION CLINICS FOR CHILDREN

--Avoid the rush; bring your kids in now!--

 

Tallahassee--Students entering kindergarten or 7th grade next school year must have certain immunization documentation on file at school before the start of school in August. Parents are encouraged to get their children immunized now for the 2015-2016 school year!

The Florida Department of Health in Leon County (DOH-Leon) provides routine back-to-school immunizations, Monday through Friday, by appointment.  In addition, several extended hours clinics will be held in mid-April and early May targeting students needing immunizations for kindergarten or 7th grade entry. These free clinics will take place at the Roberts & Stevens Clinic, 1515 Old Bainbridge Road, on the following dates and times:

Wednesday, April 15th        2:00 – 6:30 p.m.

 Wednesday, May 6th            2:00 – 6:30 p.m.

 Monday, May 11th                2:00 – 6:30 p.m.

Children must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian when they come for an immunization appointment
