Special Immunization Clinics for School Shots, June 2 & 17, 2015

FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH IN LEON COUNTY HOLDS SPECIAL IMMUNIZATION CLINICS FOR CHILDREN
--Avoid the rush; bring your children in now!--
Tallahassee--Students who will be entering kindergarten or 7th grade next school year must have certain immunization documentation on file at school before the start of school in August. Parents are encouraged to get their children immunized now for the 2015-2016 school year!
The Florida Department of Health in Leon County provides routine back-to-school immunizations, Monday through Friday, by appointment.  In addition, two special clinics that extend into the evening hours are scheduled in June.  These special clinics are targeting students needing immunizations for kindergarten or 7th grade entry. These free clinics will take place at the Roberts & Stevens Clinic, 1515 Old Bainbridge Road, on the following dates and times:
           
                        Tuesday, June 2nd                 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. &
                                                                      3:30 – 6:00 p.m.

                        Wednesday, June 17th          8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. &

                                                                      3:00 – 6:00 p.m.

 Appointments are needed for these special clinics.  To schedule an appointment or for more information, please call the Florida Department of Health in Leon County, Immunization Program Office, at (850) 606-8020.

Children must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian when they come for an immunization appointment.
