MORE SPECIAL IMMUNIZATION CLINICS FOR CHILDREN

--Get back-to-school shots early for smoother school start for kids--

Tallahassee--Students who will be entering kindergarten or 7^th grade next school year must have certain immunization documentation on file at school before the start of school in August.

The Florida Department of Health in Leon County provides free routine back-to-school immunizations, Monday through Friday, by appointment.  In addition, several special clinics, including some which extend into the evening hours, are scheduled in early and mid-August.  These special clinics target students who need immunizations for kindergarten or 7^th grade entry. These free clinics will take place at the Roberts & Stevens Clinic, 1515 Old Bainbridge Road, on the following dates and times:

                   Tuesday, August 4^th           8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

                   Wednesday, August 5^th      2:00 p.m.– 6:30 p.m.

                   Monday, August 10^th          8:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. &

                                                               2:00 p.m – 6:30 p.m.

                   Tuesday, August 11^th              2:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.

                   Thursday, August 13^th        2:00 p.m.– 6:30 p.m.

Children must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian when they come for an immunization appointment.
