--DOH-Leon and Move.Tallahassee join to explore Tallahassee by foot--

Tallahassee, Fla. –Join Move.Tallahassee and the Florida Health Department in Leon County for the kickoff of their monthly health walks. The two groups will explore Tallahassee while adding to their daily 10,000 step goal.  Meet new people, enjoy the changing seasons and acquaint yourself with a beautiful side of Tallahassee not always visible in the daily routine of going to work or school.

 

You’re Invited

When:              Saturday, September 26, 2015

Where:            Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. The walk begins at 8:00 a.m.

Meet at Tom Brown Park at the Rotary children’s playground.

What:               The walk will be along the Lake Heritage Trail from Tom Brown Park to the Piney Z parking lot and back.

How:                Choose the length of walk you want to take (from a ½ mile, or 1, 2, 3 or 4 miles).

Whatever your comfort level is, there’s a walk for you!
