The Leon County Health Department collects, analyzes and reports on a wide variety of public health data, including data related to births and deaths, HIV, STDs, immunizations, children’s health, tobacco, obesity, water quality, women’s health and other public health topics.
The data informs department programs and policies and allows the public and our partners to understand the health challenges that county residents face.
The Community Health and Planning Division periodically conducts surveys in select neighborhoods to better understand and serve the expressed public health needs of those residents.
