The Florida Department of Health in Leon County will launch a Community Assessment for Public Health Emergency Response (CASPER) survey aimed at gathering important data from neighborhoods impacted by recent hurricanes and tornadoes.
Surveys will assess:
- Health outcomes as mediated by multiple disasters
- Household level data
- Emergency preparedness and response
- Awareness of local health services and resources
- Access to care and services
- Chronic and mental health needs
