Communicable Disease - Epidemiology 

EPI work to protect the health of Leon County citizens by watching how diseases behave in the community. We manage the cases and information physicians and laboratories must legally report under Florida Statutes. We use this data to prevent the spread of disease and target resources for the maximum public health benefit to our citizens. Our goal is to reduce the disease burden and to continuously educate the public about reducing the spread of infection.
